A PROTEX KARTING barrier has no sharp edges and is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) making it very flexible and elastic while at the same time impact-resistant and nearly unbreakable. The barrier uses an eight-shaped cross-section, making it possible to manufacture it in different sizes and colors. The result obtained after the barriers have been installed is continuous and flexible protection against impacts that can be both felt by drivers and seen by spectators.

ENDURING MATERIAL

Thanks to the properties of HDPE, the barrier is resistant to chemical agents and immune to environmental agents such as bacteria and microorganisms. A great advantage is that the material does not burn and it melts at 180ºC.

COMPACT

It occupies significantly less space than traditional alternatives like tires or block barriers, allowing better use of the track space while increasing visibility and safety for drivers and aesthetics for the spectators.

STRONG AND FLEXIBLE

The barrier absorbs impacts reducing the risk of injuries. The flexibility of the barrier is adjustable according to the different areas of a track.

NON DEFORMABLE

The barrier automatically returns to its initial position after an impact without human intervention.
